About Me

Hello everyone, my name is Marcus, my pronouns are he/him, and I am currently in my fourth and final year of my major in Music (Bachelor of Fine Arts), and minor in Education. I live in Victoria, BC, originally born and raised in Hong Kong. I am most enthusiastic in being a class teacher in elementary or music for secondary as my career.
My favourite activities is driving, travelling, and playing basketball and one of my favourite places to travel is to Montreal, which I recently did travel there this summer in August to the Notre-Dame-de-bon-secours chapel in Old Montreal, and even though Montreal was very expensive, I really enjoyed the experience because it was so worth it. Other than Montreal, I love to travel to Taiwan, where my partner and relatives live. Given Taiwan is an international cultural hub in Asia, it makes me fond of my origins and culture as well.
What I hope to get in this course is to build on a stronger teaching foundation on how building my education network is important for my career, and to learn useful ways on how I would teach or assist students using social media, which is important for student’s learning.
